Here we go again, two weeks earlier than last year. Minus 10 last night, minus 18 predicted for tonight. Feel sorry for the heron and kingfisher that hang around here as already the river is frozen for much of its length.
Wow, I know it's cold, but I think it's worse over the border than we have had it. Our worst was -8 in Rotters and I believe it was -9 or -10 in Sas. I suppose you're that much further inland, so it wil be colder. Stay warm dear Snails!
We have had some -6 and about 2 inches of ice on the cut. Made a quick dash to the boat on Friday to drain the domestic water, The coldest temperature up to then was -3 outside and -1 in the boat
