Time for a windmill. This particularly pretty example was on the Linge, a 'deadend' river that we nearly came to grief on when turning at the head of navigation. The mud was thick and the river shallow.....

Wow, Tracey, that takes me back! Origami has come in very useful in Europe as on some rivers we have to moor away from the bank so nothing for it but row Woody ashore to find that all important patch of grass. Woody says he'll be reading your blog, Sindy. He says it's good to find someone he can relate to.
No trip to Holland is complete without a windmill..now all you need is a few lifting bridges......we miss you already!
